Steven M. Schulman, email@example.com, is a long-time New York City teacher, district mathematics coordinator, and curriculum consultant. His participation in math education through periods of significant reform has provided him with considerable insight into what has been achieved by learning theorists, mathematicians, and math educators over several decades. On the basis of his observations and experiences, he continues to use an optimistic brush to paint the future of what we do. Schulman is currently teaching math methods to new elementary and middle school teacher candidates at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
