Bridget Christenson, b_christenson@att.net, is currently on academic leave, pursuing her master's degree in mathematics education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She plans to return to her role as a building-based mathematics resource teacher with the Madison Metropolitan School District upon completion of her degree.

Anita A. Wager, awager@wisc.edu, is an assistant professor of mathematics education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focus is on broadening notions of teaching mathematics for understanding by incorporating the cultural and socio-political contexts in which children live and learn.
