Anderson Norton is an associate professor in the department of mathematics at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. In the same field of research as Jean Piaget and Les Steffe, Norton studies the psychological basis for mathematical development.

Steven Boyce is an assistant professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Portland State University in Oregon. His research focuses on investigating the ways that middle-grades students coordinate units across mathematical contexts.

Jennifer Hatch is a seventh-grade mathematics teacher in the Roanoke City Public Schools in Southwestern Virginia. She is a licensed Mathematics Specialist.
