^*Kimberly Sipes Hartweg, kk-hartweg@wiu.edu, is an assistant professor in the mathematics department at Western Illinois University. In addition to teaching at the university level, she has over ten years of elementary school and middle school teaching experience and has recently served two years as a school principal for grades 1-5. Her research interest involves the mathematical content and pedagogical knowledge required of current and future elementary school and middle school teachers.
