His research focuses on how preservice teachers learn to teach mathematics, with a focus on their knowledge and beliefs about technology and student mathematical thinking.

Diane S. Hill, hilldi@uvu.edu, teaches at Utah Valley University in Orem. She is interested in understanding the beliefs and attitudes held by students that affect their success in mathematics.
