Mathematical action technology can foster equitable student discourse. Students engage in cycles of proof to create, test, and revise conjectures through dynamic exploration of the Pythagorean theorem.

NCTM publications present a variety of viewpoints. All regular articles (i.e., Front and Center, Feature, Focus, Exploring Mathematics) submitted to MTLT undergo double-blind, external peer review. Departmental submissions are reviewed by two to three members of the editorial board. The views expressed or implied in this journal, unless otherwise noted, should not be interpreted as official NCTM positions.
