Footnotes

Growing Problem Solvers provides four original, related, classroom-ready mathematical tasks, one for each grade band. In this month's Growing Problem Solvers, we focused on students' understanding of fractions, specifically fractions of a group of objects. Fractions can be challenging for students of all ages, and these tasks, all contextualized problems involving a family of rabbits, lend themselves to students creating diagrams to model the problem.
