Alessandra King, Alessandra.King@holton-arms.edu, explores mathematics with her students at the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. An astrophysicist by training, she has taught physics and mathematics at the middle and high school levels on three continents–in Milano (Italy), Manila (Philippines), and the greater Washington, D.C. area. She particularly enjoys creative problem solving and reading about the history of mathematics.
