The 2018 Winter Olympic Games will take place on February 9-25, 2018, in Pyeongchang, South Korea. One of the featured Olympic sports is figure skating. Jumps are an exciting part of singles and pairs figureskating events. Diana Cheng, dcheng@towson.edu, is an associate professor of mathematics at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, teaching future mathematics and science teachers. She has earned adult national figure skating medals in championship pairs and solo free skate.
