Leslie Dietiker, dietiker@bu.edu, was a high school math teacher in San Francisco for seventeen years and is now an assistant professor of math education at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her research examines how math curricula can spark students' curiosity in and passion for mathematics.
